How to Calculate Your Raise Percentage

If you know the dollar amount: Raise % = (Raise amount / Old salary) x 100

Example: $75,000 → $78,750. Raise = $3,750. Percentage = ($3,750 / $75,000) x 100 = 5%

If you know the percentage: New salary = Old salary x (1 + percentage/100)

Example: 8% raise on $90,000. New salary = $90,000 x 1.08 = $97,200
