See where your numbers are heading — for free, with no signup. Enter your data manually, paste it, or upload a CSV. The tool fits a trend line, projects it forward, and shows a confidence range so you know how certain the forecast is. Works with any two columns of data. Everything runs in your browser. Your data never leaves your device.

How does the trend forecast tool work?

Enter your data as two columns. The tool fits a trend using your chosen method (linear regression, moving average, or exponential smoothing) and projects it forward by the number of periods you choose. A shaded confidence band shows the range of likely outcomes — wider further out because uncertainty grows with distance. You also get summary stats: average growth rate, trend direction, and projected values.

How many data points do I need?

At least 3, but more is better. With 6 to 12 points you get a solid trend line. With 24 or more, patterns become clearer and the forecast is more reliable. The tool works with anything from 3 points to thousands.

How accurate is the forecast?

The tool projects your existing trend forward. It cannot predict external shocks — new competitors, economic changes, a viral marketing campaign. The confidence band reflects this: it is narrow near your data and widens further out. Think of it as "if things continue like this, here is where you are heading" — a directional guide, not a crystal ball.
