VN (VlogNow) is genuinely one of the best free mobile editors. No watermark, multi-track timeline, keyframe animation, speed curves, transitions — features that usually cost $5-10/month. If you do regular mobile editing, VN is worth having installed.
But for individual quick tasks — crop one video, trim another, merge three clips — you do not need a full editor. Each task has a purpose-built browser tool that finishes faster because there is no project setup.
