How to Split PDF & Extract Specific Pages — Free, No Adobe

When You Need to Split a PDF

A 50-page report but you only need pages 3-7 for your presentation. A combined document has a confidential section that must be removed before sharing. A scanned file includes blank pages that waste space. You need to email one specific page from a contract. Splitting and extracting are among the most common PDF tasks — and Adobe charges $23/month for them.

Extract Specific Pages

  1. Open the Split PDF tool
  2. Upload your PDF
  3. Enter the pages you want: "3-7" or "1, 3, 5, 10-15" or "all except 2, 8"
  4. Download the new PDF containing only those pages

Non-consecutive page selection works — grab pages 1, 5, and 12-15 in one action. The output is a clean PDF with just the pages you selected.

Split Into Individual Pages

Need every page as a separate file? Select "split into individual pages" and download a ZIP containing page-1.pdf, page-2.pdf, etc. Useful when each page needs to go to a different person or system.

Remove Unwanted Pages

Sometimes it is easier to say what you DON'T want. Instead of selecting 48 pages to keep, remove the 2 you don't want. The tool supports "all except" selection — remove specific pages and keep everything else.
