Color Customization Tips

• High contrast is mandatory. Dark foreground on light background. Black-on-white is safest. Navy-on-white, dark green-on-white, and dark red-on-white all scan reliably.
• Never invert. Light dots on dark background fails on many scanners. Some newer phones handle it, but ~30% of devices struggle.
• Brand matching: Use your brand's darkest color for the QR dots and white (or very light brand color) for background. Test on 3 different phones before printing 1,000 flyers.
• Error correction: Set to M (15% recovery) for standard use or H (30% recovery) if you expect partial coverage or slight damage.
