Merging Videos on Your Phone — Without an App
You have 3 clips from an event and want one continuous video to share. Most solutions mean downloading InShot, CapCut, or another editing app — 100MB+ download for a 30-second task. The browser tool does it without installing anything.
On iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open Merge Video in Safari
- Tap "Choose File" — select your first video from Camera Roll or Files
- Add more clips — tap again to add each additional video
- Arrange order — drag to reorder if needed
- Tap Merge — download the combined video
- Share via Messages, AirDrop, WhatsApp, email, or any app
On Android (Chrome)
- Open Merge Video in Chrome
- Tap "Choose File" — select from Gallery or file manager
- Add more clips and merge
Mobile Merge Tips
- Keep total size manageable: Phones have less RAM than desktops. Keep total input under 200-300MB for smooth processing. If clips are large, compress each one first
- Close other apps: Video processing uses significant memory. Close background apps before merging
- Use Wi-Fi for downloads: Merged files can be large — downloading on Wi-Fi is faster and does not use mobile data
- Trim first: Trim each clip on your phone before merging to remove dead time
Common Mobile Merge Scenarios
- Event highlights: Combine best moments from a party, concert, or trip
- Before/after: Join a "before" and "after" clip side by side in time
- Multi-take: Record in multiple takes and join them together
- Story content: Merge separate clips into one longer video for Instagram or Facebook
After Merging on Mobile
- Compress — if the merged file is too large to share
- Crop — adjust aspect ratio for social media (9:16 for TikTok/Reels)
- Add subtitles — add captions for social media viewing
