Why Proper Sizing Matters
Every social media platform has different image dimensions. Post a square image on a LinkedIn banner and it gets cropped badly. Use a landscape photo as an Instagram story and half your image is cut off. Proper sizing means your content looks professional, nothing gets cropped unexpectedly, and your message comes through clearly.
How to Resize for Social Media
- Open the Social Media Resizer
- Upload your image
- Select the platform and placement (e.g., "Instagram Post" or "YouTube Thumbnail")
- Preview the crop and adjust positioning
- Download the perfectly-sized image
All processing is local. Your images stay on your device.

One Image, Multiple Platforms
The most efficient workflow: start with the largest image you have, then resize for each platform you are posting to. Create one Instagram post, one LinkedIn version, and one Twitter version from the same source image. The tool preserves quality across all resizes.
