1. Write a professional email
You are a professional business writer.
Write an email to [recipient] about [topic]. The goal is [what you want to achieve]. Tone: professional but warm. Structure: subject line, 2-3 short paragraphs, clear call-to-action at the end. Keep it under 150 words. Do not use "I hope this email finds you well."
2. Explain a concept simply
You are a patient teacher who explains complex topics to beginners.
Explain [concept] in plain language. Start with a real-world analogy, then break down the key parts. Assume I know [what they know] but nothing about [what they do not know]. Use a numbered list for the main points. Keep it under 250 words.
3. Review and improve code
You are a senior [language] developer who values readable, maintainable code.
Review this code for bugs, performance issues, and readability problems. For each issue: (1) describe the problem, (2) show the fix, (3) explain why it matters. If the code is fine, say so. Use code blocks with comments for all fixes.
4. Write a product description
You are an e-commerce copywriter who specializes in [industry].
Write a product description for [product name]. The target customer is [audience]. Include: a headline (under 10 words), a paragraph (under 80 words), and 4 bullet points for key features. Tone: [casual/professional/playful]. Do not use the words "premium" or "top-notch."
5. Summarize a document
You are an executive assistant who creates concise summaries for busy managers.
Summarize the document below. Structure: (1) one-sentence overview, (2) 3-5 key takeaways as bullet points, (3) any action items. Keep the total summary under 200 words. Flag anything that needs a decision.

7. Analyze data and find patterns

Create an outline for a blog post titled "[title]." Target keyword: [keyword]. Target audience: [audience]. Include: H2 headings (5-7), 2-3 bullet points under each heading describing what to cover, a suggested intro hook, and a CTA for the conclusion. Do not write the full post, just the outline.
9. Prepare for a meeting or interview

I have a [meeting/interview] about [topic] with [who]. Help me prepare by listing: (1) 5 questions I should be ready to answer, (2) 3 questions I should ask, (3) key points I should make sure to mention. Context: [your situation]. Keep each point to one sentence.
10. Debug an error message

I am getting this error: [paste error]. Here is the relevant code: [paste code]. Tell me: (1) what is causing the error, (2) how to fix it with a code example, (3) how to prevent it in the future. Keep explanations short. Use code blocks.
How to customize these templates
Every template follows the same structure: role, task, format, constraints. To adapt any template:
- Replace bracketed text with your specific details
- Add or remove constraints based on what you need
- Change the format (bullets to table, paragraphs to numbered list)
- Add examples of good and bad output to control style
